摘要 PURPOSE: To reduce hardware scale and to accelerate speed in the case of expanding a compressed sound/audio signal using MPEG standard by adopting algorithm excluding the operation processing of the band synthesizing and decoding device. CONSTITUTION: This audio signal band synthesizing and decoding device is provided with an arithmetic means 1 sharing the calculating means of V vectors for sub-band synthesization and the arithmetic means of audio data PCM. Further, as a means for inputting data to the means 1, an MN/MD vector storage means 2, V vector storage means 3 for storing the V vectors outputted from the means 1 and adding/subtracting means 5 for outputting corrected inverse quantized sample data by adding/subtracting the output from an inverse quantized sample data memory 4 are provided and a control means 6 controls these means. First of all, one group of inversely quantized data is inputted, shift processing is performed for the unit of 32 pieces of data and 32 pieces of new V vectors are calculated. While using the algorithm removing redundant operation processing, sound/audio data are expanded and by repeating this processing 36 times, one frame is expanded.
