PURPOSE: To provide a rubber coated roller capable of separating a rubber layer from a core bar efficiently surely with a simple method. CONSTITUTION: Rotary shafts 4a, 4a are projected from both ends of a cylindrical core bar 1 and the peripheral surface of the core bar is coated with a rubber layer in a rubber coated roller. Both ends of the rubber layer are projected axially of the core bar from both ends of the core bar by forming the rubber layer longer than the core bar. In this rubber coated roller, high pressure air can be surely taken in the connection of the rubber layer with the core bar by the projecting rubber layer portion from the end of the core bar, so that the rubber layer can be easily separated from the core bar by drawing the core bar out of the rubber layer. |
