PURPOSE: To obtain a composition, comprising a thermoplastic resin, a scaly graphite and a fibrous reinforcing material, capable of providing a molding having excellent mechanical characteristics and vibration damping properties and useful as various automotive parts, etc. CONSTITUTION: This composition contains (A) 40-97wt.% thermoplastic resin (e.g. an ABS resin), (B) 3-60wt.% scaly graphite having 100-1000μm average particle diameter (e.g. the one comprising only hexagonal platy crystal C atoms) and (C) 0-57wt.% fibrous reinforcing material (e.g. a chopped strand of glass fibers). The total amount of the components (B) and (C) is >=60wt.%. Furthermore, a filler such as tale may be contained therein.
