PURPOSE: To obtain a liquid epoxy resin sealant holding good moisture-resistant reliability and low linear expansion coefficient and excellent in flowability. CONSTITUTION: This liquid epoxy resin sealant comprises (A) an epoxy resin, (B) a polysiloxane, (C) a silane coupling agent in an amount wherein the alkoxy groups of the silane coupling agent and the hydroxyl groups of the polysiloxane B have a molar ratio of 0.1-15, (D) an urethane-modified silicone resin produced from (a) a hydroxyl group-containing polysiloxane, (b) a polyetherdiol, (c) a diisocyanate compound and (d) a hydroxyl or amino group-containing chain extender as a fluidizing agent, and (E) spherical silica having a central particle diameter of 6-12μm, the maximum particle diameter of 30μm and a specific particle diameter distribution, or simply dispersed spherical silica having an average particle diameter of 2-10μm and a particle diameter distribution comprising the average particle diameter±1μm in an amount of >=90 pts.wt. per 100 pts.wt. of the component (A).
