PURPOSE: To obtain a steel sheet having a high frictional coefft. at a low cost by dispersing a specified amt. of a metal or ceramic material having a specified particle size in a plating film formed on the steel sheet. CONSTITUTION: A lumpy, flake-like or acicular metal or ceramic material having 5-20μm average particle size is dispersed by 5-60vol.% in a plating film layer 2 formed on the surface of a steel sheet 1. As for the metal, Zn, Al, Cr, Ni, etc., can be used. As for the ceramic material SiO2 , Al2 O3 , ZrO2 , etc., can be used. The metal or ceramic material can be easily dispersed by spraying to the plating layer which is continuously formed and is in an unsolidified state.
