PURPOSE: To provide an infrared detector whose detection sensitivity and efficiency have been so far improved by receiving an infrared radiation quantity in an efficient manner. CONSTITUTION: A recess 6 is formed in a base 2, infrared reflecting film 7 is formed in this recess 6, and a hollow part is formed in the base 2 and thereby a bridge-structural infrared sensor 1 is attached tight to the base 2 so as to get the hollow part and the recess 6 opposed to each other, and then the infrared sensor 1 mounted on the base 2 is covered with a cover body 4 provided with a filter 3, subsequently a horn 5 is installed in an outer boundary of this cover body 4. |
