PURPOSE: To steer without any feeling of physical disorder by composing a flow control valve from an energizing means allowing movement to open a drain port by a specific pressure acting upon a spool hole and providing the energizing means with a non-linear characteristic which reduces the increasing rate corresponding to the increase of flexure. CONSTITUTION: By the transmission of power through a spool 15 when the pressure difference P1 -P0 between internal pressure P1 and exit pressure P0 increases, a first spring 23 first starts to flex between the spool 15 and an intermediate washer seat 29 and allows movement of the spool 15. The increase of spring reaction at this time is due to the flexure increase of the first spring 23. When the pressure difference P1 -P0 further increase, acting of the specific pressure reaches the set load of a second spring 25 which starts to flex together with the first spring 23. The value of a spring constant of the whole energizing means at this time falls below that of the first spring 23 alone. |
