PURPOSE: To improve the control characteristic of a sensor-less controller, for a permanent-magnet field synchronous motor by improving the calculating accuracy of the rotational angle of a rotor. CONSTITUTION: In a sensor-less controller 3 provided with an arithmetic means 1 which calculates the rotational angle and angular velocity of a permanent- magnet rotor from the phase current and phase voltage of three-phase armature windings which drive the rotor and conduction control means 2 which controls the conducting amount to each armature winding based on the calculated phase current and voltage, a digital filter 41 equivalent to a first-order lag type analog filter which removes ripples, etc., is provided and the calculated rotational angle is passed through the filter. In addition, an output correcting means 42 which eliminates a discontinuous point at the periodic end of the rotational angle by correcting the first-order delayed output of the filter 41 is provided and the output of the filter 41 is inputted to the control means 2 and, at the same time, fed back to the arithmetic means 1. |
