PURPOSE: To prevent increase in memory capacity by storing a data base storing a kind, size and a coordinate of a start point of a constituent element constituting a font and the shape of the common constituent element constituting the font stored in the data base. CONSTITUTION: When a menu is displayed on an LCD 23, a user selects font formation, and a CPU 7 receives a command, and opens the picture with Item registered in the LCD 23. The user plots the required font on a tablet 25, and the CPU 7 receives the command ended with registration. The CPU 7 compares the size of the inputted font with the coordinate of the constituent element of the font. Then, the CPU 7 inquires of the user about the effect that no size is within the allowable range. By the above operation, the font required to be formed is stored, and when the registration is ended, a font forming sub-routine is started, and the font required by the user is formed. |
