<p>PURPOSE: To attain fixation at a low fixing temp. and to improve fixing strength to transfer paper and image characteristics without causing any problem on anti-offsetting property in practical use by crosslinking vinyl resin having functional groups in the presence of ester wax. CONSTITUTION: Vinyl resin having functional group is crosslinked in the presence of ester wax to form a structure in which crosslinked vinyl resin is finely dispersed in the ester wax. Any of synthetic ester wax and natural ester wax may be used as the ester wax. The synthetic ester wax is, e.g. monoester wax synthesized from long straight chain satd. fatty acid and long straight chain satd. alcohol. The vinyl resin having functional groups is, e.g. acrylic resin such as glycidyl (metha)acrylate resin having glycidyl groups or ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer resin.</p> |
