PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dual mode vacuum cleaner that can be used as both a canister mode vacuum cleaner and an upright mode vacuum cleaner and can be easily converted from the canister mode to the upright mode. SOLUTION: A cleaner 100 is provided with a main body part 190 including a pair of wheels 191, a dirt-collecting part 110 for sucking a dust, and a coupler assembly 700 for detachably coupling the main body part 190 and the dirt- collecting part 110. A conversion of an operating mode is accomplished inside of elements in the cleaner, so that the elements do not project out of the coupler assembly, thereby an external appearance of the vacuum cleaner 100 can be improved. The coupler assembly 700 has an extremely strong internal structure so that the life span of the coupler assembly will be prolonged and its durability against impact, i.e., will be improved. |
