PURPOSE: To generate an image wherein object shape is easy to see by adding predetermined different modulation values, which are added to the luminance of display images of pixels constituting an outline and pixels constituting a ridge, to the luminance of a display image after the respective pixels are projected, and modulating the luminance of the display image. CONSTITUTION: A common side pixel decision part 144 of a graphic processor 104 decides which of a pixel constituting the ridge as a side shared by two polygons after projection and a pixel constituting the outline as a side of one polygon after projection corresponds each of the pixels constituting the respective sides of polygons after projection which are included in the display image. The predetermined different modulation values which are added to the luminance of the display images of the pixels constituting the outline and the pixels constituting the ridge are added to the luminance of the display image after the respective decided pixels through a superposing process 146, and the luminance of the display image is modulated. Consequently, the image wherein the object shape is easy to see can be generated. |
