PURPOSE: To provide a method for conveying a pasty raw material in a pipe in a process for producing various industrial products including foods. CONSTITUTION: A gas is blown into a pipe for conveying a pasty raw material undergoing the grinding treatment in a stage of making the final pasty raw material present in the pipe in conveying the pasty raw material from a storage tank through the pipe and a pump to the nest step and the final pasty raw material in the pipe is then conveyed to the next step. Thereby, the final pasty raw material remaining in the pipe can surely be conveyed to the next step according to simple operations in a process for producing a food, etc. The final pasty raw material which has hitherto been regarded as a problem can be prevented from remaining in a large amount in the pipe. As a result, the loss in the raw material can remarkably be reduced. The method can suitably be used as a method for conveying the pasty raw material in the pipe in an apparatus, etc., for producing the food for the purpose of the diversified small- quantity production. |
