PURPOSE: To provide an image receiving paper to be used for a copying machine, a printer, a facsimile machine in a heat melt ink thermal transfer record method, with which a recorded image of full color has a high image quality and ink transfer accepting property, duplicativity, fixable property, gradation property, and sharpness (blur of dot, bridging) are excellent. CONSTITUTION: In a thermal transfer record image receiving paper, an image receiving layer which contains an adhesive and a pigment as main components and accepts a heat melt ink is provided on a base paper. In the pigment, 60-100wt.% of barrel-like light calcium carbonate having an aspect ratio [major axis dimension (L)/minor axis dimension (W)] of 1.2-3.0 and an average particle diameter of 0.5-3.0μm is added. |
