PURPOSE: To release stop of a print operation even when the operation of error release is not made after recording paper is supplied and a cause to a paper feed error is solved while a print request is generated again due to a cause after the print operation is stopped because of presence of a paper feed error due to shortage of recording paper on a print request. CONSTITUTION: When a paper feed error detection means 13 detects a paper feed error, after a print stop means 15 stops printing by a recording means 11 and a print request is caused, a control means 16 allows the paper feed means 12 to feed recording paper again, and when the paper feed error detection means 13 does not detect the paper feed error, the stop of printing by the print stop means 15 is released and the control means 16 allows the recording means 11 to make printing. |
