FIELD: foundry, in particular, manufacture of porous permanent molds. SUBSTANCE: method involves preliminarily preparing mold by Show process; mounting prepared mold on chill mold made from fireproof material; filling chill mold with steel shots mixed with finely dispersed activated carbon powder to upper level plane of chill mold; placing load onto upper surface of charge; positioning obtained system into furnace for diffusion welding of balls, with activated carbon powder content being sufficient for deoxidation of oxide film on ball surface. EFFECT: increased efficiency, improved quality of permanent mold and improved sanitary and hygienic labor conditioned. |
