FIELD: medical engineering. SUBSTANCE: device has cylindric reservoir with cover for collecting urine having transformation unit for converting float displacement into electric signal. Reservoir cover is optically impermeable. Radiation source and photosensitive member of the transformation unit connected to signal processing unit are mounted on the cover. Upper plane of the float is manufactured from material reflecting light. Internal surface of the float is light-absorbing. EFFECT: enhanced accuracy of measurements.
