FIELD: organic chemistry. SUBSTANCE: product: new derivatives of imidazopyridine of the formula (I)where R meansand R,R,R,R,Ar, X and Y have values indicated in point 1 of invention. Salts of proposed compounds show antagonistic properties with respect to angiotensin-II and can be used for treatment of hypertension, aldosteronism, cardiac failure, increased intraocular pressure and central nervous system disorders. EFFECT: improved method of synthesis, enhanced effectiveness of compounds proposed.
