FIELD: electrophysics; irradiation of parts and materials by means of accelerated electron beams. SUBSTANCE: electron-beam scanning device has bell mouth with exit window and deflecting magnet with power system; in addition, it is provided with correcting magnet in the form of bar made of magnetic material with poles at ends placed on wide end of bell mouth parallel to its wide side. Second correcting magnet is installed on other side of bell mouth so that unlike-polarity poles of correcting magnets oppose each other. Correcting magnets are also provided with magnetizing windings fed from power system. EFFECT: improved uniformity of irradiation, reduced size of device, reduced requirements to magnetic energy, facilitated attainment and stabilization of desired magnetic field intensity. |
