REFLECTOR OF DEPLOYABLE ANTENNA, ITS TRANSFORMED FRAME, DEPLOYING MECHANISM, REGISTERING MECHANISM

FIELD: aerial equipment. SUBSTANCE: invention may be used in high-precision collapsible antennas of big diameter with stiff reflecting surface employed at communication satellites and astrophysical spacecrafts provided with radio telescopes. Reflector includes transformed frame with turning beams coupled to registering mechanisms, reflecting surface and mechanism for deployment of reflector. Base is fitted with ring main transverse frame put on its butt. Side wall of transverse frame has radial slits and its outer surface carries attachment units of turning beams. Each beam is equipped with V-shaped brace composed of rod made fast to each other at obtuse angle. Free end of one of them is hinged to turning beam and free end of other one carries fixed element. Vertex of brace is jointed to additional rod and its other end is hinged to base. Deploying mechanism is provided with tie-rods connected to turning beams, triangular rockers and levers each one being hinged to periphery of driving wheel. Tie-rods are passed through slits in transverse frame and are connected to driving wheel by means of rockers. Registering mechanism includes rest, ball-like support and spring- loaded stopper. Stopper is manufactured in the form of circle-shaped wedge which inner surface interacts with rear surface of support. Rest of registering mechanism is fabricated in the form of hollow truncated cone which axis lies in plane perpendicular to turning axis of beam. Invention makes it possible to design antenna with diameter of 10-14 m with limiting deviations of reflecting surface of theoretical profile of antenna with in limits of 2.0 mm on side lobes and 0.6-0.9 mm over central antenna reflector. EFFECT: improved functional reliability of reflector.
