摘要 FIELD: radio metering technique. SUBSTANCE: device is intended for measuring high-frequency and superhigh-frequency oscillations. Device contains one four-entry and three two-entry commutators, splittor, two bifurcators with unlike difference of two output ports, two identical phase-metering channels consisting of phase- splittor with 2N outputs, N summators and detectors, three calibration generators, reading unit incorporated into multientry analog-code transformer, microprocessor, memory and indication subunits, and control subunit. When a signal with unknown frequency appears on commutator entry, it is divided into two equal parts by splittor, then once again in half by bifurcator and comes to the entries of phase-metering channels where phase relations are transformed into amplitude ones. From amplitude potentials on outlets of these channels, microprocessor of reading unit computes frequency to be measured. Device may be operated in calibration mode, wherein, for required frequency range, differences between actual and ideal transformation functions are eliminated, these functions relating potential values on detector outputs with those on entry by way of determining values of coefficients of polynomial describing function type for transformation of corresponding output of phase- metering channels and remembering them for each step. Such procedure reduces systematic measurement errors associated with asymmetry of bridge circuits in respect to transient decay, nonidentity of paths of signal passage to diodes and nonidentity of their voltage-current characteristics, and also with fluctuations of these characteristics because of temperature fluctuations and natural aging.
