FIELD: S H F technology. SUBSTANCE: invention may find use in matching of rectangular waveguides with magnetodielectrics with asymmetric rib-dielectric lines. Technical effect of invention lies in possibility of match of metal rectangular waveguide incorporating dielectric plate with asymmetric rib-dielectric line. In agreement with invention junction includes rectangular waveguide filled with dielectric plate. Dielectric plate and corresponding wide walls of rectangular waveguide are continuation of dielectric plate and screens of rib-dielectric line correspondingly. Side walls of rectangular waveguide have cuts which edges are manufactured in the form of smooth curves converging to height of ribs of rib-dielectric line. Vertexes of curves are equal to height of side walls of rectangular waveguide. One of edge is made falling and the other one - rising. EFFECT: improved reliability of matching of metal rectangular waveguide with asymmetric rib-dielectric line.
