A component (113) is provided for confirming the number of banknotes and value in a bundle immediately after each bundling function, thus before the bundle is closed and printing of information on the closed bundle takes place. A further component (103) closes each bundle of notes. Two further components (112,104) print accurately information about the number of banknotes, value, confirmation and operator on the closed bundle of notes. A process unit (11) controls the functions of the different components in the correct and unalterable sequence with the carrying out of the functions of calculation, bundling, closure and application of information within a casing (100) which encloses the corresp. components. The printing components comprise a keyboard (112), for a computer (11) outside the casing and a printing head (104) within the casing. The process unit forms part of the computer. |
