PURPOSE: To provide an electric bulb type fluorescent lamp with which electroluminescence efficiency is improved without deteriorating the outer appearance by limiting the temperature of an amalgam to be a proper value. CONSTITUTION: An electric bulb type fluorescent lamp is provided with double U-shaped fluorescent tubes produced by sealing an amalgam in thin tubes at end parts, a holder which holds both end parts of the fluorescent tubes, a lighting circuit to light the fluorescent tubes, a resin case 4 which houses the lighting circuit, an electric bulb base which is attached to a cylindrical part installed in one end of the resin case 4, and a globe which houses the fluorescent tubes held by the holder and composes an outer casing together with the resin case 4. The resin case 4 is made of white-color PBT resin and the inside 4a is coated with a dark color, e.g. black color, paint to be colored. The outside 4b of the resin case 4 is made to be while color. |
