PURPOSE: To enable a manager to check a failure in the exact signal reception of the music data from a host computer by displaying the display data of the music just before this music in case of a failure in the normal signal reception of the music data. CONSTITUTION: This communication KARAOKE sing-along machine 1 receives the music data transmitted by the host computer 31. A receiving means 2 executes control in such a manner that the reception information of the received music data is stored in a storage means 6 and that the display data of respective pieces of the music in the reception information is displayed on a display means when the music data from the host computer 31 is normally received. The data is not stored in the storage mean 6 and the display data of the immediate previous music is so controlled as to be displayed on the display means when the receiving means 2 fails to normally receive the music data from the host computer 31. As a result, the manager of the communication KARAOKE sing-along machine 1 is able to know the reception defect in an early period.
