PURPOSE: To obtain a radio communication system which provide excellent telephone call services by expanding a service area and preventing a blind zone area from being formed. CONSTITUTION: Antennas of mutually different polarization are used as base station antennas which are adjacent to each other among base station antennas 30a and 30b which are decentralized and arranged by a cable 2 and branch units 5a and 5b. Consequently, the service area is expanded by the base station antennas 30a and 30b which are decentralized and arranged and even if a mobile radio terminal 4 is at an intermediate position between those base station antennas 30a and 30b, radio signals from the two base station antennas 30a and 30b do not interfere with each other.
