<p>PURPOSE: To avoid an abrupt stop of travel which gives an uncomfortable feeling even in the case where an accelerator lever is carelessly brought into the state of nonaccelerative operation while travelling, by braking travel in response to whether a hand is brought into contact with the accelerator lever or not when the accelerator lever is brought into the state of nonaccelerative operation from the state of accelerative operation. CONSTITUTION: A detecting means 17 detects that a hand is brought into contact with an accelerator lever 13 which is operated together with a hand grip 12A by a hand. On the basis of the detection result of the detecting means 17, when the accelerator lever 13 is returned into the state of nonaccelerative operation from the state of accelerative operation, it is brought into a quick stop mode for quick braking when a hand is not in contact with the accelerator lever 13, and it is brought into a slow stop mode which is slower than the quick stop mode when a hand is in contact with the accelerator lever 13. Therefore, even in the case where the accelerator lever 13 is carelessly brought into the state of nonaccelerative operation at the time of travelling, an abrupt stop of travel which gives an uncomfortable feeling can be avoided.</p> |
