PURPOSE: To provide a finder easy to see by automatically detecting visibility in a state where a prescribed value in the finder is surely observed, so as to detect an optimum visibility state. CONSTITUTION: This finder device is constituted to provide a display control part 2 executing the display required for the visibility, a line of sight visibility detecting part 5 for inserting a light shielding part 4b into an optical path with a driving part for detecting 6, in the display state, to drive an optical system for detecting 4 and set an optical system for detecting the visibility 4a in an optimum visibility position and removing the light shielding part 4b from the optical path, to detect a line of sight and a line of sight visibility control part 7 for driving a finder visibility optical system 1b with a visibility optical system driving part 3, in accordance with the signal of the line of sight visibility detecting part 5. Information of the eye of a photographer is led to the line of sight visibility detecting part 5 with the optical system for detecting 4 by a half mirror 1d provided in a finder system 1. |
