PURPOSE: To apply a magnetostatic wave S/N enhancer to the BS/CS broadcast or high-speed digital data communication having sharp frequency transition by shortening the transient response time of magnetostatic wave elements using magnetic garnet films. CONSTITUTION: Concerning a magnetostatic wave S/N enhancer provided with magnetostatic wave filters 2A and 4, etc., using magnetic garnet films for propagating magnetostatic waves, half-value widthΔH for the absorption peak of ferromagnetic resonance on the magnetic garnet films of the magnetostatic wave filters 2A and 4 at 9.55GHz is made to conform to 90e>=ΔH>=0.70e.
