PURPOSE: To provide a metal deposition film where a protection function operates properly and a deposition film pattern with less capacity change is provided and a capacitor using the film. CONSTITUTION: A metal deposition film is provided with a blank part A of a deposition film extended continuously in the longitudinal direction of film at one edge part in width direction of the film, a deposition film D extended continuously in the longitudinal direction of film, and a division C of the deposition film which is split the longitudinal direction of film by a blank part B of the deposition film extended in the width direction of film at the center in width direction of film. Then, the deposition film D and each division C is allowed to have a continuity by a connection consisting of at least one deposition film where a width F in the longitudinal direction of film is 0.3-2.0mm, a length G in the width direction of film is 0.3-1.0mm, and surface resistance is 3-7Ω/square.
