PURPOSE: To obtain the image display method and the image display system in which no stereoscopic sense is impaired even when a different kind of a display device is in use. CONSTITUTION: Left eye and right eye images are displayed on one or plural display screens 16 of a display device 14 and a stereoscopic image is displayed. When a 1st display device of the display device 14 is revised into a 2nd display device, for example, revision of a display screen size, revision of one display screen into plural display screens (HMD or the like), revision of a relation of positions of an optical axis and a screen center or the like, an image conversion section 12 shifts a display position of the left eye and the right eye image horizontally so that a displayed object displayed on a remote infinite point by the 1st display device is displayed at a remote infinite point by the 2nd display device. Thus, the maintenance of a stereoscopic sense is attained. In order to maintain the stereoscopic sense more correctly, it is desired to keep a field angle of the displayed screen viewed by a viewer. |
