<p>PURPOSE: To obtain a radio communication system which is used to make a radio communication between a central base station and plural portable terminals, can increase the terminal multiplicity in the communication area and enters an actual communication state immediately without requiring system synchronism. CONSTITUTION: Respective up data have spectra spread by one-bit data with M-series codes made different in initial phase by the portable terminals 101a, 101b..., and the up spread signals while held chip-synchronous are transmitted to the base station 102 intermittently at certain time intervals made to correspond to the generation period of the said M-series codes. Consequently, the base station 102 can perform distinctive reception by inversely spreading the intermittently sent and received up signals by the one-bit data with the M series codes corresponding to the respective portable terminals 101a, 101b... without performing system synchronization to obtain actual communication immediately and greatly increase the terminal multiplicity.</p> |
