PRINTING METHOD OF SCREEN IMAGE IN UNIX SYSTEM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for printing the screen images in an UNIX operating system. SOLUTION: This method for printing the screen images for the UNIX operating system is easily performed by a user similarly to a screen printing operation in a Microsoft Disk Operation System(MS-DOS) and the method is based on a known method for constructing a virtual terminal. In the method, a master process 56 and a client process 52 controlled by the master process 56 are established inside a processor. The master process 56 decides whether or not a screen printing key 38 or the other key is pressed. When the pressed key is the screen printing key 38, the master process 56 reads the screen images from a screen buffer and converts the screen images to printable graphics. A printer 42 prints the printable graphics.
