PURPOSE: To relax congestion at a wicket by writing prescribed data when the prescribed data are not stored in read data. CONSTITUTION: When communication between an IC card 1 and an automatic ticket examination machine is disordered or when the data reading or writing of a magnetic card C2 is disordered, the automatic ticket examination machine permits the entrance of a user having that IC card C1 or magnetic card C2 and reports the disorder in the processing of the IC card C1 or magnetic card C2 through a causion lamp, display panel or speaker provided at the automatic ticket examination machine, and guidance is performed so that the card can be processed by a card processor 1 installed inside the yard. Concerning the IC card C1 or magnetic card C2 for which the reading/writing of data at the automatic ticket examination machine is disordered, the data are exactly read at the card processor 1 and the result of operation processing based on those read data, namely, entrance data are exactly written and the card is returned. |
