PURPOSE: To perform a color changing processing without performing a mask forming processing. CONSTITUTION: An object color to be changed and a nonobject color are specified and a 1st color vector V1 representing the object color and a 2nd color vector V2 representing the nonobject color are found. A substitute color which is substituted for the component of the object color is specified and the color vector Vrep of the substitute color is found. Further, a 3rd color vector independent of the 1st and 2nd color vectors V1 and V2 is set. And, 1st-3rd coefficients corresponding to the 1st-3rd color vectors when the colors of respective pixels of a color image are representedly linear connections of the 1st-3rd color vectors are found respectively. As for a color whose 1st coefficient is plus, the 1st color vector V1 is replaced with the substitute color vector Vrep and a composited vector is found by using the 1st-3rd coefficients to calculate a color after changing. |
