PURPOSE: To prevent the overheating of a reader device in the moving picture data supplying device for supplying moving picture data alternately by two reader devices selected out of four reader devices in shifts of a short time. CONSTITUTION: In a moving picture data supplying part 10 for supplying moving picture data to be displayed on a monitor 14 in a playing part of a KARAOKE device 4, four players 72 to 75 are disposed as two in the vertical direction and two in the horizontal direction respectively. Moving picture data is read out of CD-ROMs 82 and 83 by one set of players (for example, 72 and 73) as one set of two players arranged side by side in shifts of 30sec to supply an amt. of one piece of music of the moving picture data to the playing part 8, and then the moving picture data is read out and supplied by the other set of players (74 and 75). Two adjacent players in the vertical direction such as (72 and 74) or (73 and 75) are never brought simultaneously into the operating state, and one player is never put in the state of operating continuously for two pieces of music, thus preventing the overheating of any players. |
