PURPOSE: To provide a photosensitive planographic printing plate developable with a developer of pH 10.0-12.7 not contg. a silicate, less liable to the dissolution of the anodically oxidized film of the Al substrate and having satisfactory chemical resistance. CONSTITUTION: A photosensitive layer contg. phenol-formaldehyde resin having a wt. average mol. wt. of >=10,000 and contg. >=90wt.% component having three or more arom. groups in one molecule and o-naphtho- quinonediazidosulfonic ester of a polyhydroxy compd. having a wt. average mol. wt. of >=2,000 is formed on an Al substrate with an anodically oxidized film subjected to silicate treatment or pore sealing treatment. |
