PURPOSE: To provide an image forming device capable of making a surface potential of a photoreceptor uniform by the simple control, and obtaining an excellent image quality from the first rotation of the photoreceptor, without adding any complicated device. CONSTITUTION: A discharging lamp 7 is kept off until a leading end position on the photoreceptor 1 surface reaches a discharge part 5, and applying voltage corresponding to a discharging unit 2 before the leading end position reaches the discharging lamp 7 is switched after reaching there. Then, an electrification potential of the photoreceptor 1 is made uniform, the electrification potential effected subsequent to the second time is made equal to the electrification potential of the first time, and the uniformized image formation is made possible from the first rotation of the photoreceptor 1, by prohibiting the discharge process with respect to an area before the electrification process. |
