PRODUCTION OF PHOTOGRAPHIC MATERIAL AND PHOTOGRAPHIC MATERIAL

摘要

PURPOSE: To simplify a production method of a photographic supporting body which is conventionally produced in plural processes and to obtain a photographic material having an antistatic polymer layer which is made uniform and rigid with stable coating property. CONSTITUTION: This method has the following features. An antistatic polymer layer containing a carageenan having aλ- orη-structure or a medium structure of these is formed by multilayer simultaneous coating technique and the amt. of the carageenan is <1/2 weight of the antistatic polymer. Or, the layer adjacent to the layer containing the carageenan contains a chelating agent. By this method, plural layers including the antistatic polymer layer can be formed by simultaneous coating without such a problem that the antistatic layer is spread to the end side by an air blow for drying or without coating failure. Moreover, by introducing the new coating technique, physical properties of the photographic material can be significantly improved.
