PURPOSE: To minimize the hardware constitution for the environment of the power supply such as a voltage value of an input power supply for an air condi tioner, a zero-cross and a strain or the like, detect the environment by a func tion of software, reduce cost, and improve reliability in operation. CONSTITUTION: A control device B is comprised of a capability changing means 20 for controlling an input power supply 5 applied to an air conditioner A and variably changing a cooling or a heating capability; a micro-computer 10 for adjusting a controlling amount obtained from the capability changing means 20; a voltage adjusting means 6 for adjusting a voltage of the input power supply 5; a full-wave rectifying means 7 for rectifying the input power supply after adjusting the voltage; and an A/D converter 11 for converting an input voltage value after rectifying operation into a digital value which can be inputted to the micro-computer 10. The micro-computer 10 is comprised of a first capability changing means control means 19 capable of sensing a power supply frequency of the input power supply through software calculation and further adjusting a controlling amount of the capability changing means 20 in response to the power supply frequency. |
