PURPOSE: To provide the manufacture of an electrical double layer capacitor electrode so as to uniformly activate carbon in a short time without using a special chemical in a method that applies microwaves to carbon powder. CONSTITUTION: The manufacture of an electrical double layer capacitor electrode that activates carbon by applying microwaves to carbon powder includes a process of applying microwaves to the electrode which is impregnated with water and electrolyte and a process of re-impregnating the electrode with electrolyte. After the process of boiling the electrode formed by sintering and solidifying carbon in water or electrolyte, a process of applying microwaves to the electrode which is impregnated with water and electrolyte and a process of re-impregnating the electrode with electrolyte are performed. |
