PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication terminal equipment that cuts a scene which is not desirably seen by an opposite party in the case of transmission/ reception of video and audio signals. SOLUTION: The terminal equipment includes a video recording means 2 and a video reproduction means 1 and a flap 6 is able to switch off the video recording means 2 in this video and audio signal transmission reception method. Even when the flap 6 is closed, a memory capacity of the communication terminal equipment is utilized to transmit the image in a video memory 3. The switching of the video memory 3 is selected automatically by the operation of the flap 6.
