摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a semiconductor diplexer device without any defect of a preceding technique which can be easily realized at low costs, and to provide this semiconductor diplexer device having performance suited to application to a large-scaled subscriber's private branch public optical fiber transmitting and receiving equipment related with the S/N of receiving performance. SOLUTION: This device includes a laser 24 for generating a first optical signal having certain wavelength and a light detector 22 for detecting a second optical signal having another wavelength. Moreover, this device includes an absorbing device 23 for absorbing the first signal arranged between the laser and the detector forming the constituting elements of an optical wave guide. The laser functions for generating the first optical signal in the form of continuous waves, and this is arranged between the absorbing device and a modulator 25 which selectively functions for the first signal so that the problem of optical and electric crosstalk between the transmitting function and the receiving function can be reduced. This device can be applied to a subscriber's private branch optical fiber transmitting and receiving equipment.
