摘要 |
PURPOSE: To calibrate color conversion with high precision in a short time by modeling a relation equation between a monochromatic color output and a mixed color output of the color image output device so as to obtain a color conversion basic parameter and linking or synthesizing the basic parameter with calibration information. CONSTITUTION: A printer modeling section 2 models a relational equation between a monochromatic output of the color image output device and color mixing output mixing the monochromatic outputs. A basic parameter setting section 3 obtains a color conversion basic parameter based on an output of the printer modeling section 2. A real printer characteristic measurement 5 of each image output device prints out and measures a color batch and a calibration information setting section 4 obtains calibration information based on the result of measurement and the value by modeling. The color conversion is calibrated with high precision in the color conversion by allowing a color conversion section 1 to link or synthesize the color conversion basic parameter and the calibration information. |
