PURPOSE: To provide an air cell excellent in strong load discharge by reducing internal resistance of the air cell, and restraining an increase in internal resistance by preservation. CONSTITUTION: An air electrode current collecting material by applying conductive paint containing metallic powder and graphite to a metallic net and expanded metal or punching metal, is used as a collector layer 2 of an air electrode 4 for an air cell. A metallic wire of the metallic net and the expanded metal or the punching metal is composed of a material by applying nickel plating to stainless steel and nickel or stailess steel. The conductive paint is formed as paint which contains either one of graphite, nickel of metallic powder, silver or a mixture of nickel and silver as a conductive substance and contains at least one among polyvinyl chloride, epoxy resin, polyamide imide and water glass as a binder. |
