PURPOSE: To provide electrodes with stable properties by a simple work by forming a silver coating on at least one member of joining parts of a contact electrode and a vertical magnetic field generating coil and joining parts of the vertical magnetic field generating coil and a supporting conductor and joining these joining parts by pressing and heating. CONSTITUTION: A silver coating in 5-30μm thickness is formed on at least one of the inner or lower face of a hole 21a of a vertical magnetic field generating coil 21 and the tip end part 1a of a supporting conductor 1 and also on at least onee of the joining faces of a bonding face 21e and a contact electrode 31. The electrode is temporarily assembled by inserting the tip end part 1a of the conductor 1 in the hole 21a of the coil 21 and at the same time joining the bonding face 21e of the coil 21 to a step part of the electrode 31. The resulting members are heated to 790-860 deg.C in a heating furnace in reducing atmosphere. The silver coating layer is melted and diffused in the base materials of respective joining parts of the conductor 1, the coil 21, and the electrode 31 and the joining parts are joined in the same way as being joined by soldering by cooling.
