<p>PURPOSE: To obtain a radar signal processor which suppresses an MTBF from being dropped due to an increase in an arithmetic resource by a method wherein a third signal processing part which finds the correlation value of an angle error signal and a failure detection part are added to a first signal processing part and a second signal processing part of the ordinary type. CONSTITUTION: When a tracking operation is to be performed with good accuracy, aΣsignal, aΔAZ signal, aΔEL signal, a guard channel signal and the like are used as reception beam signals 1-1 to 1-n. At this time, the guard channel signal is used to prevent an erroneous detection due to an unwanted signal which is incident from the side lobe of theΣsignal. In order to process the reception beam signals 1 in a plurality simultaneously, first signal processing parts 4 are prepared. In addition, in a second signal processing part 5, the distance, the angle and the like of a target are found in order to perform a tracking operation, and an angle error in an EL direction and an angle error in an AZ direction are found in order to increase the accuracy of the tracking operation. Then, a third signal processing part 14 computes an error angle signal, and a failure detection part 15 detects the failure of the processing parts 4.</p> |
