PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a method and system to customize a protocol for communication of two users or over in a network. SOLUTION: The system utilizes a database including a customer transaction profile. The profile includes a definition that denotes how an input output message is formatted and an instruction that denotes how a communication stream is processed. The customer transaction profile of a network user is easily revised by editing the database. In a preferable embodiment, a front end system 12 of a network 17 gives maintenance to the database and activates all required functions to supply customized communication. Thus, the operator of the network 17 supplies the customized protocol to each subscriber of the network 17 quickly or without requirements of a special device or installation of a software for the subscriber. |
