<p>PURPOSE: To provide a malfunction preventing device which does not request a user to store the state to be set in a power saving mode and never gives the harmful effect to the reset operating state with no misoperation nor misinput and regardless of the type of a pushed key. CONSTITUTION: A malfunction preventing device consists of a means which sets a power saving mode where the power consumption of a computer is reduced if no input is received from an input device even after the lapse of a prescribed time, and a means which restores a normal ON mode in the power saving mode to validate the input received from the input device after it is decided that a normal state is reset from the power saving mode when the input is received from the input device or after the lapse of a prescribed time when the resetting of the normal mode is estimated.</p> |
