Incinerator for household waste or other solid materials

The incinerator consists of a first section (1) with a chamber (7A) in which the waste material is burned, fed by a primary air flow. The chamber (7A) contains a reverse-draught firebox (8) with a partition (10) with apertures (11) linking it via a duct (16) to a post-combustion chamber (17) in a second section (2). The second section (2) of the incinerator has at least one duct (18) for introducing a secondary air flow to promote the combustion of gases and to create a turbulence which increases the time the gases spend in the combustion chamber.
